Let Elegant and Easy Gourmet Catering ease your mind by preparing sumptuous meals, whether they be formal, casual or business events. We cater to all occasions, including business dinners, weddings, birthdays and special occasion gatherings.

Consider a cooking party where your guests can observe or participate in the preparation of the gourmet meal. Work on team building, creativity and uniqueness by hosting a cooking class. At the conclusion of the class, we share the meal we have created. Wine is included. For a birthday celebration, a 7 layer chocolate ganache and home grown raspberry dessert is my gift to the celebrant. The dessert features 7 lbs of 70% Belgian chocolate and is my trademark creation.y check two weeks prior to the class date.

Pairing Foods with Herbs
Students will use their sense of smell and touch to learn how to pair herbs with foods. The instructor will guide you toward certain pairings and explain why those selections are logical, but you will be encouraged to experiment with varying textures, tastes and aromas to create your own unique blends.

More than 15 herbs, grown and dried in the instructor's garden will be offered for you to experience during the class. Each student will leave with six different herb blends and recipes which will take you 'step by step' through using the herb blends in your own kitchen.

You will also prepare and taste a beautiful and impressive pairing of lemon thyme and white wine cream sauce over swordfish.

Other herb blends you will create and take home are seasonings for: Turkey dressing; Prime Rib; Spaghetti sauce (with a twist); dill and curry for carrots; and dill and lemon zest for asparagus or green beans.

Don't let this very lovely, expensive cut of meat intimidate you. In fact, we will pack the lamb with a homemade fresh rosemary, garlic and orange pack and then cook it for a total of 25 minutes! Your family and friends will be impressed when you serve this beautiful meal.
